Job Description: Attendant

Position Summary: Provides services that enable clients to carry out functions of daily living, self-care and mobility.

Reports to: Client Services Director

Flex from Part Time to Full Time; non-exempt

Qualifications :

• Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prefer a minimum of six (6) months work experience in a supervised setting, preferably health care facility.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written assignment sheet.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Current driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• A method of direct communication with the office, pager or own phone.
• Physical examination demonstrating free of communicable diseases.
• Mantoux or chest x-ray demonstrating free of tuberculosis.
• Clear criminal history check.
• Current CPR.
• Successful Completion of Angel Corps’ Dementia specific training: 80% or better grade
• Successful completion of Angel Corps’ Culinary Skills class: 80% or better grade

Position Summary: Provides minimal assistance with activities of daily living in a clean, safe, home environment. Performs services for clients as necessary to maintain their personal comfort.
